The Porsche 996 Turbo, with its 3.6 l bi-turbo engine, is the first water cooled Street-Turbo in the history of Porsche. With 420 HP and 580 Nm torque, this car offers a really good driving performance. Our aftermarket titanium exhaust system with new manifolds, a 400 or 100 cpsi (customer’s choice) hi-flow metal catalysts and an optimized exhaust flow inside the muffler, achieved an additional increase of power of 17,2 HP (400 cpsi) or 19,6 hp (100 cpsi) and an increase of torque of 30,8 Nm (400 cpsi) or 36,2 Nm (100 cpsi).

The Akrapovič aftermarket Slip-On system is based on the same layout as the original exhaust system of the GT3 with valve control. In comparison to the aftermarket Akrapovič Evolution exhaust system, the Slip-On does not contain an exhaust manifold with a 100 cpsi sports catalyst, but rather only a titanium muffler with two double round tail pipes. The muffler is easily installed on the original exhaust system.

The Akrapovič aftermarket Sports Cup exhaust system is based on the Porsche Sports Cup rules, which means retaining the original exhaust manifold with integrated catalysts. We therefore developed a performance and weight optimized titanium end muffler with appropriate link pipes as the connecting piece to the manifold. This kind of construction reduces the weight by almost 21 kg in comparison to the original exhaust system.

In addition to providing Porsche AG with a titanium exhaust system for the GT2, we also developed the Evolution aftermarket exhaust system for the Turbo, which is made of titanium. We achieved an increase in power, torque and reduction of weight by 11 kg, because of new 400 or 100 cpsi (customer’s choice) hi-flow metal catalysts and the capacity-optimized layout of the mufflers.

noticeably louder, with a deep and very aggressive sound, to fully
express the racing-oriented nature of this exhaust, which is made from
our proprietary titanium alloy. This complete beautifully crafted
titanium system consists of four round tail pipes, computer-optimized
asymmetrical mufflers with a “dual mode” exhaust valve system, and a
